‪The Agape Community Kitchen is looking for a part-time (10 hours/week) Agape Administrative Coordinator. The hours are somewhat flexible, but the candidate would need to participate on-site in Elizabeth on Wednesday afternoons once or twice a month. Salary is $10,000/year.

Agape servesothers who are food insecure as an expression of God’s love. Every Wednesday, we open the doors of First Presbyterian Church in Elizabeth and welcome people into a space where they can enjoy a hearty meal in a loving environment. Something that makes The Agape Community Kitchen unique is that we are a youth-led (6th-12th grade) mission of The Presbyterian Church in Westfield. We believe it is important to give young people meaningful ways to be in leadership roles through our church. With the support of a team of awesome adults, it is the students who are leading our meal service in Elizabeth each week.

Qualifications for Agape Administrative Coordinator:

  • ‪Strong administrative skills
  • ‪Experience in working with other businesses/social servicesto execute operations
  • ‪Experience in planning, budgeting and monitoring donations and expenses
  • ‪Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
